- I am a 4th year teacher at Forest Ridge Elementary in College Station, Texas. I started teaching in 2008 and taught 2nd grade for a year. Luckily, my principal thought I was a kindergarten teacher even when I didn't. I moved to kindergarten and after the 1st day I was hooked. Right now, I eat, sleep, and think kindergarten. I love the growth, the hearts, and the personalities of kindergarteners. I also enjoy spending time with my family and my friends. There is more to me than teaching kindergarten but it is my heart. I was also just accepted to the special education masters program at Texas Tech University. It is an online program and it's focus is educational diagnostician.
